the death of steve jobs continues to make waves throughout the world. it has been announced that next week apple fans have decleared a steve jobs days, it is october 14th, the same day as the new phone is scheduled to

yesterday and today. it has stalled out. that is good in a way, keeps the clear weather around. but as it shifts around sunday and monday this high pressure will move further offshore. that means wrap around flow, return flow that will mean warmer conditions coming out of the south. so a south breeze will help make things milder. hurricane phillipe over the open atlantic waters now. so about 600 miles or so east of the island of bermuda, so even though it has achieved hurricane strength it is drifting now away from bermuda and into the open atlantic water, so not a concern for that island but it is interesting to note we can still get decent hurricane activity in the atlantic right through mid-occasionally even late october. overnight 46, starry skies, lynette charles put me up to this one, so running out of

this protest could have on obama's future. >> reporter: roosevelt yeah, you know you have probably seen these protests over the past few weeks or so but basically today i decided i wanted to get out hit the streets and meet some of these protesters face- to-face. >> this is the occupation. >> reporter: they gathered from across the country, unified by a call for change. >> it is not right. >> in equity of income distribution. >> good jobs and good wages. >> we are not a one issue thing. there is -- i am a veteran. >> reporter: some think it represents a new movement. the far west answer to the tea party but not all party politics. >> we should fire them all and start from scratch. >> you just said we should fire them all. does that include the president? >> from my own personal perspective, yes. >> with the capitol in the backdrop people are camping out and trying to get their voices heard, a sign their anger could play a major role in this

election, in 2010 the tea party changed the debate and forced many republicans to make difficult choices. now the question is will this unrest from the left but the president in a similar spot in 2012. >> i fell for obama, but, no, i will not vote for him again. >> so roosevelt just who are these protesters, today i found out most are not from washington, have traveled here and potentially these are the voter who can make a major difference in the election. >> in order to elect the president in the first place voters need to know who the candidates are and what do you have f for us on that? >> this is surprising. this was something we found out today. it was a pole. basically i want to ask you this question, see if you can get the answer because i was shocked by it. all right here we go, what percentage of people can't name a gop candidate for president. >> what percentage? i am going to guess 20, 30%.

classic animated films in 3-d, according to disney lion king passed the 80 million mark, disney plans to extend what was planned as a two week release. it beat out money ball staring brad pitt. following its success disney will rerelease 4 more. beauty and the beast will hit theaters next year on january 13th, followed by finding nemo, and others will follow that. lastly she is returning to the big screen when the little mermaid hits screens in september of 2013.

ending up in jobs they never thought they would have. how one man ended up sailing away from his old career. the most recent jobs report came out and while more than 100 new jobs hit the economy last month unemployment stayed the same. the news here in baltimore however has a little bit more of an inside, abc2 news brian has more. >> reporter: though a positive trend the most recent report shows a stagnant national economy. but here in downtown baltimore that needle may be moving. >> in terms of job creation, baltimore is better than the rest of the country, last year we addd a 6700 jobs. >> reporter: mike evans with the downtown partnership says there has been a 10% job growth in the past years, the evidence is written in the skyline, downtown's economy just may be look in up. >> transamerica was a big one

for downtown, office space that was vacated and it has been filled within a year. >> reporter: then there is baltimore's latest son, underarmor who announced plans to dwowbl double size here along with other moves that should bring in about 600 more jobs. add that to the now empty hollow point scheduled for some business development and other smaller firms moving in and you get 50 leases signed in 2010 with 21 new offices coming on line. 2011's numbers so farrar far, are not as strong but do continue a trend. >> we are seeing a continuation of the heavy industry that baltimore is known for and others. >> still it is at 19%, officials want to see na down near 10, a reality they hope continues to be spelled
